American Wilderness Leadership School
August 20 – 24, 2014
This is a specialized workshop for SCI members, their families and friends. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. The lead instructor is Jay Buchner, U.S. Fly Fishing Team Member and founder of High Country Flies in Jackson, WY. Jay’s hands-on instruction in casting and in tying flies will instill confience in your own fly fishing skill.
Through the summer Jay is lead instructor for the AWLS stream ecology and fly tying classes where teachers learn skills they can pass on to their own students.
