We have a good group of anxious vets ready to fish. Some have experience in fly fishing but most are beginners and the 4 guides from Lincoln Hills are good teachers. We will be fishing both the river and ponds for trout. The vets vary in injuries but all are ambulatory and are learning casting skills.
Everyone catches fish and has a great time. We fish all morning until noon and then head to the lodge for lunch. We sit on the deck overlooking the pond and tell stories. It was a successful outing and all of the vets leave with a smile.
