Valhalla Hunt Club
Craig Hospital
Bennett, Colorado

October 26, 2014

It’s a beautiful fall day at Valhalla Hunt club, and we will be hosting Craig Hospital for some trap shooting, pheasant hunting and a barbecue lunch. The hospital van arrives at 11:00am. The patients have spinal cord injuries and are in wheel chairs, along with family members and hospital staff. We start out with some trap shooting instruction and practice. Then it’s down to the club house for some barbecued ribs and homemade desserts. At 1:00pm we get the dogs and patients, and head up to the fields. Tall grass and great cover for the birds; we take two patients at a time in the side by side UTV’s. The dogs go on point, the pheasants fly, some escape and some will be dinner. Everyone will at least get a chance to shoot, it’s been a great day!
