Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing

It’s a cool Colorado morning. In the Colorado Rockies the leaves are turning and the elk are bugling. We have a group of Wounded Warriors and Craig Hospital patients for a day of fly fishing in the ponds and creek followed by a gourmet lunch. We start with the basics of fly fishing and some information on what trout do every day depending on water temperature and food.

We also have some students from University of Colorado Boulder. When the instruction is done we head to the creek and ponds with our guides. There are some hookups with some big trout rainbows, browns and cutthroats. After a great morning of fishing we head to the lodge for lunch and conversation, it’s been a great day!
