Colorado Youth Outdoors – Windsor, Colorado
Fishing, Archery and Lunch
Operation TBI, Freedom Hunters, Craig Hospital and Veterans Alliance
We have almost 100 Wounded Vets, family members, Craig Hospital patients and alumni in attendance. It’s a beautiful Colorado day, just the right temperature for fishing and archery, topped off with a great lunch from the Escoffier Culinary Academy of Boulder. Everyone heads out to the ponds, 3-D archery course and various docks that are located on three of the ponds. Bass and crappies are the first to show up on both fly and spinning rods. The archery range is always a big hit with both kids and adults.
At midday we head up to the outdoor pavilion for a fantastic lunch and some fish stories. It’s been a great day for all and a big thanks to everyone for all the help and support.
