Denver SCI HOP
Anglers of Honor Fly Fishing
Hosting Operation TBI, Freedom Hunters and Craig Hospital
It is a beautiful Colorado mountain day, we have a group of Wounded Warriors and Craig Hospital patients that are anxious to learn how to fly fish. The expert guides from Lincoln Hills will be instructing everyone before we head to the river and ponds. Next we will be paired up with the guides and given gear, then it is down to the river and ponds. The river is high and fast so we adjust our technique to fit the conditions. The pond is full of hungry trout and we hook up with some monsters. Even though the river is more difficult, we pull out some big fish.
Everyone is having a great day. At 12:30 we head up to the club house ato have some Italian food on the deck and exchange fish stories. It is a day of healing and fun thanks to all of the Lincoln Hills and Anglers of Honor staff.
